After School Activities

Students have various opportunities for enrichment, socialization, and connection in a safe and supportive atmosphere and the more students connect with our adults on campus, the more likely they are to feel close to the APEX community.

Students who participate in after school programs, show better attendance and achievement at school, and report a high level of connection with the school staff and the school community.

APEX Academy Leadership works to promote school spirit and community involvement. We coordinate school activities, which include, canned food drives, dances, staff appreciation, lunch activities, spirit weeks, pep rallies and fundraisers. We also act as a voice for the rest of the student body. Most people hear about the fun part of Leadership, but what they do not hear about is the intense amount of work and the responsibility that goes in to being a part of the Leadership class.

Student Leadership is made up of all class levels, usually around 30 students, who serve either as student body officers or commissioners.

The officers for the 2019- 2020  school year are:

President:
Maetzy Castillo
Vice President:
Carlos Enriquez
Secretary:
Cynthia Gonzalez
Treasurer:
Julia Vera
Historian:
