COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

The best counseling ratio in the area.  All research points to the importance of personalization and a low counselor to student ratio; at APEX Academy, you find research in practice.  Our counselor to student has never been higher than 150 to 1 compared to the average of 400 to 1 and at times higher throughout the LA area. We believe that for our students to succeed, acces to quality counseling and guidance is a must.

COUNSELING AT APEX.  Counselors at APEX are the cornerstone for student success and wellbeing.  They know each student well and understand what it takes to help each of them achieve academically and personally.  Counselors work closely with students and families to create school success plans for each student.

High School Counselors are available daily in the Counseling Center (Room 341).  Ms Medrano is available daily in Room 305.
